Brett Ince, Head of Elite Programme at Park Wrekin, has been named as the coach for the GB Women’s Team at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris this summer.
I know it has been Alice’s dream to go to the Olympics with Brett as the coach and they have both worked tirelessly towards this goal.

If you’re looking for Frederick Richard on the University of Michigan’s campus, the odds are pretty good that you’ll find him at the Newt Loken Training Center. That’s where he spends most of his time these days.
Inside the walls of the chalk-filled training gym, Richard starts his day at 10 a.m. with physical therapy, followed by yoga – to keep his flexibility on point, of course. You probably recall the disaster that was Nellie Kim, President of the FIG Women’s Technical Committee, pushing for American Kylie Dickson to compete for Belarus in Rio.
It was one of Nellie Kim’s many ethical disasters.
But I’d argue that — more often than not — having a gymnast from a bigger nation represent a smaller nation DOES help Gymnastics there. For example, I fully expect WAG to boom over the next couple of Olympic cycles in Philippines.
