Kohei competes this weekend

Uchimura on Thursday said he is not looking to push himself too hard at the championships which double as the second round of trials for the world championships in October in Montreal. He said his focus will be to get his feel back for competition.

“I’ve somehow got myself fit enough to take part in all six apparatus,” Uchimura said. “I’m not concerned by how I do, but I’m thinking more about getting my instincts back for competitions.” …

USAGym Collegiate Championships 2017

Seattle Pacific University will host the three-day 2017 USA Gymnastics Women’s Collegiate Championships April 7-9. …

The USAGym Collegiate Championships are open to NCAA Division I, II, and III gymnastics programs that allocate six or fewer scholarships. Nine teams will compete for the national team title and 33 additional individual gymnasts from non-qualifying schools compete for the all-around and individual event championships. …
