“It’s absolutely wrong to ban athletes who have not broken the rules. It (this decision) is good,” said Uchimura, a six-times world all-around champion.
“Those who dope can’t complain even if they get banned for life,” the 27-year-old Japanese told the Kyodo news agency.

You can argue that all Russian athletes should be banned. Including gymnasts. Many are taking that position. I respect the argument.
Russian sport is corrupt and deserves sanction up to but not including disallowing athletes and coaches not proven personally guilty. That’s my opinion.

Doping is a huge issue and we need very harsh measures to combat it. I told you about Lance ahead of time. Everyone was riding his jock, wearing yellow bracelets. And it was total BS. He was a brutal baldfaced liar. Even a bully at it. And Peyton Manning is full of it–if his wife got HGH what are the odds they were for her??
I don’t know that gym is infested, but it is CERTAINLY in danger. You need to man up and be much more firm. Kick the Russians out. Don’t let Sac and Drag in when they miss their retest window. Etc. Etc. We NEEEEED harsh measures. Doping is a cancer and is widespread.
