I competed in NCAA gymnastics for two years at MIT before both the men’s and women’s gymnastics program was cut, along with six other sports. This was not the first nor the last NCAA gymnastics program to be cut.
Being part of a gymnastics program that was cut was devastating; NCAA gymnastics is an incredibly fun, supportive, and exciting culmination to a lifetime of work to get there.
As I started conceptualizing College Fantasy Gymnastics, I started to think of it not only as a way for people to have more fun following college gymnastics, but also as a tool to help increase the popularity of college gymnastics teams. …
