NAVY won the Varsity division (two or less full scholarships plus Military Academies)

ARIZONA won the Collegiate (Clubs) division.

Seattle Pacific coach retires after 46 years

SPU athletic director Jackson Stava:

“Thank you does not seem enough to express the gratitude owed to Laurel Tindall,” he said.

“She has poured her whole self into this program for the last 46 years. I am very thankful to have had the chance to work with Laurel these past few years and see first-hand the impact she has had in the lives of gymnasts both at SPU and in this community for nearly 50 years.” …

Gymnast with type 1 Diabetes

Paris Phillips of the North Carolina State University Wolfpack was diagnosed with juvenile Diabetes after her first semester at college.

Paris posted an excellent article on how she’s dealt with that medical challenge while staying in the sport. In fact, she was only off training for one month total.

Over the past few years Paris has been talking to younger gymnasts and people in sport who have been diagnosed.
