Marcos Goto new coordinator of both Brazilian teams

papa-liukin summarizes news from Brazil:

Marcos Goto is the new coordinator of both Brazilian teams. It’s the first time the men’s and women’s programs will be under the same coach.

Alexander Alexandrov (former women’s coach) and Renato Araújo (former men’s coach) left Brazil shortly after the Olympics. Araújo is currently working in (Toronto) Canada while Alexandrov is in Houston, Texas.

Many prominent Brazilian coaches (including the personal coaches of Rebeca Andrade and Flávia Saraiva) also left Brazil to pursue opportunities elsewhere.
