Yes, the USA is the big favourite here.

But I’d say the other two team medals are up for grabs.

Japan was the biggest happy surprise. They were the only qualifying team that had no falls. And absolutely nobody saw them as podium contenders.

Rebeca – disaster on Vault

Rebeca’s Cheng β€”Β first vault counting for the team β€”Β was excellent.

But her hand slipped on the second. She had to simply do a tucked Salto.

Smart decision. But she now won’t qualify for the Vault Final.
