A number of positions have become available with a primary focus of podium success at the Commonwealth Games, World Championships and the Olympic Games.
Those include the position of WAG National Coach.
Like 4 years ago, I assume current coaches can reapply for their positions.
Bursting onto the international scene in 2004 as the youngest German Olympic athlete, Hambuechen now owns 9 World and 11 European medals, plus titles at the 2015 European Games and the Universiade. The German sportsman of the year 2007 … has had a rich and fulfilling gymnastics career. But there was this one medal that alluded him … Olympic gold. …

When Zonderland came off the high bar, Hambuechen’s biggest rival –and good friend took himself out of the medal race. And none of the other gymnast could match Hambuechen’s score. After 12 years at the top, he was finally the Olympic Champion!

The name of the new laureate of “Swiss Olympic Lifetime Coach Award” is Zoltan Jordanov. In the frame of the fifth edition of the “Swiss Olympic Coach Award”, Swiss Olympic awarded him on Monday this distinction for his commitment in favour of the Swiss sport. At the end of 2016, Zoltan Jordanov will end his activities after a decade within the Swiss Gymnastics Federation. During this period, he has firstly guided Ariella Kaeslin then Giulia Steingruber to the top of the world’s elite. …
