A 10.0 from Florida’s Bridget Sloan finished a solid road performance for the Gators Friday in front of 6,660 at the University of Kentucky Memorial Coliseum. The Florida gymnastics team took a 197.525 – 196.65 win …

Sloan now has seven perfect marks in her collegiate career (three beam, two bars, one vault, floor), making her the Gators’ career leader for 10.0s. …

It is Florida Senior Day and the careers of Gators Bridgette Caquatto, Bianca Dancose-Giambattisto, Morgan Frazier and Bridget Sloan will be celebrated in a post-meet ceremony.

Eastern Michigan goes 196.6

These ladies have been killin’ it. Congratulations on making history. 🙂

The Eastern Michigan University women’s gymnastics team kept up their record-breaking ways today, Feb. 13, in a tri-meet win over Bowling Green and Southeast Missouri State. The Eagles were able to break into the 196’s for the first time in program history, finishing with a huge 196.6 to shatter the old record set Monday, Feb. 8, at Michigan.

“I’m obviously thrilled and extremely proud of the team,” remarked Head Coach Jay Santos. …

“We had a lot of great individual performances, but I think the highlight would have to be Natalie (Gervais) going 9.925 on beam with a gorgeous routine, and Lacey (Rubin) going right after her with a 9.9,” said Santos. …
