The 16-year-old athlete from Team USA is freshly back in the United States following her impressive victories at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Hernandez won silver on the balance beam, and gold in the women’s team all-around.
While there’s no word on whether or not pro Mark Ballas will return, it sounds like he could make a perfect partner for Hernandez.
“I absolutely adore @lzhernandez02 just gorgeous,” he tweeted on Aug. 10. “#starpower #needadanceteacher? #RioOlympics2016.”

For the second weekend in a row I was up in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Despite being in one of the least populated areas in North America, this town of less than 40,000 people has a terrific Gymnastics Facility.
Prince Albert Aerials did an excellent job hosting an Artistic (WAG/MAG), Trampoline & Tumbling competition. Theme: Survivor. (Like the Reality T.V. show.)
Using the American J.O. rules for the first time really speeded up the judging. 🙂

“The early medical indications were positive as Beth was able to move her hands and feet, despite being in a lot of discomfort …
they took a piece of bone from her hip and used it to fuse the two vertebrae that were fractured, along with pinning them together …

CHANNEL 4 SPOKESPERSON:
“The Jump is now in its third series and since launch 46 celebrities have taken part successfully. Though it is a new course the events have been designed to be no more difficult than in previous years and all contributors have undertaken a rigorous training programme to prepare them for the show.
” All winter sports carry some element of risk but in light of the number of injuries this year, Channel 4 has asked the producers to review safety procedures again to further reduce the prospect of accident.”
