Beauty is one of the attractors of gymnastics and ice skating, for women/girls (versus some other sports). Yes, of course they enjoy the movement as well. But the accompaniment of music, as well as the appearance aspect is a part of the thing.
Not every girl is the same (all are all individuals), but as a group, the XX’s are more captivated by the image of a princess on top of a wedding cake, than the XYs are. (They are not identical either, but as a group are more interested in winning wars, killing wooly mammoths, and getting lai…you know).
