I like the creativity but I also wonder how painful the split one is. I just did it on a yoga mat to see if it hurts the spine and after the second one I had to stop. I don’t want to accuse anyone of anything but my question is: do these girls feel the pain in the spine from this excessive and will any of them raise their voice to tell the coach that it does hurt.
Will other coaches take this exercise without thinking if it might hurt and looking at research if it is good for the body to drop into split as a warm up..
