2018 Japan Supreme Men’s AA Final

1 Kenzo Shirai 85.497
2 Teppei Miwa 84.132
3 Kazuma Kaya 83.765
4 Fuya Maeno 83.265
5 Shogo Nonomura 82.631
6 Kakeru Tanigawa 82.465

… a bunch of the top AA gymnasts all competed against each other, including junior gymnasts Teppei Miwa (17) and Takeru Kitazono (16).

Incredibly, Teppei actually placed 2nd with a score breaking 84, which is a big number for a junior.

The medalists are automatically selected to compete on the AA World Cup Circuit- with first place competing in two, and the 2nd and 3rd place finishers getting to compete in one each. Which means we’ll get to see young Teppei on the World stage very soon!
