In 2007 Bill McCabe was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for sexual exploitation of children.

The question being asked of USA Gymnastics is why Bill McCabe wasn’t placed on the permanently ineligible list until December 2006?

I’m sure their response will either be none at all, or some BS about the complaints not being from victims or their parents early on. This man should have been investigated personally by USAG when the first complaint came in, instead they chose to create a folder for him, let the complaints pile up for over a decade, and do nothing until it was clear he was going to jail. Too little, too late.
It’s clear that USAG doesn’t care about the safety of children. Instead, their number one goal appears to be $$$.
