Several have noted that Russian and some American scores are higher than they should expect in Rio.

US domestic bars scores are always grossly inflated … LOL.. also WOGA home scoring… LOL 🙂

Yeah, definitely agree with you Coach Rick. Hard to see Fan Yilin scoring less than Kocian or Locklear in front of international judges with a hit routine like that. I do think that Ashton and Madison have caught up to the Russians, though, except for maybe an in-form Komova, but Komova is out of the Olympics. Kocian has that floaty quality that the Chinese have, so I actually think she’d be scored higher by international judges than Locklear. I myself prefer Locklear over Kocian. Ah, the subjective element of this sport!
