Rustam Sharipov did compete for the Soviet Union, and won gold with the Unified Team in 1992, shortly after the Soviet Union’s collapse. But his gold on parallel bars and team bronze in 1996, and World Championship gold in 1996 were won as a gymnast for Ukraine.

You still fail to keep Russia accountable for the atrocities that they’ve committed. Why are you not calling out Russia for the innocent civilians they’ve killed? I expected this blog to speak to justice. Are you worried about losing Russian followers?
