Utah's @MSkinner2016 announced she's decided to pursue the Tokyo 2020 Olympics!
"I see the opportunity to pursue an Olympic berth as a chance of a lifetime. If things don't work out for whatever the reason, I plan to return to the University of Utah for my senior year."#NCAAGym pic.twitter.com/IYZofXeva7

Florida’s Trinity Thomas will continue with Elite, as well.
related – Skinner’s Path to Tokyo

There is a path for Skinner but odds are definitely stack against her. She most likely will have to go after one of the 4 teams spots. Which is not impossible because Skinner does have an AA program even if bars and beams are not her best. The US could definitely use another high vt and fx score to complement someone like McCusker. Obviously, if other people show up with amanar/cheng with improved fx (possibly Grace McCallum?) then things would get even more complex.
I doubt that they would use the individual nonnominative for Skinner. Eaker (or Alyona or Locklear, if they can improve their bars more) probably has a better shot at that spot
