rates of false accusation of sexual assault are very low

For rape, for example, it’s about 2% – 10%.

My guess is that it’s closer to 2%.

The best book I’ve read on the subject is Krakauer’s Missoula: Rape and the Justice System in a College Town. What happens to women who report is usually horrific. ☹️

  1. Rick, I appreciate many of your insights but I don’t come to this site every day to see political posts. This is the single biggest problems with sports and our culture now.

    1. If having to see actual facts you don’t personally like is your “single biggest problem,” then you’re living a blessed existence.

Sexual assault is not a “political” issue, it’s a crime. Men are more likely to BE raped, than to be falsely ACCUSED of rape.

If fact-based assertions that recommend decency, compassion and crime prevention/reporting sound like “politics” to you, perhaps some introspection is advised.
