Maggie Nichols training for Oklahoma

Maggie is ready to move on after not being selected for Rio, not even as an alternate.

She’ll be a superstar there without question.

  1. I feel very sad for Maggie, especially after reading the linked article. Thought she should have gotten an alternate spot for Rio at the very least, but guess the last knee injury was just too recent. Wish she could have done the AA in quals at last year’s worlds, too, and had the chance she deserved there to make it into finals, but what’s done is done and I think she will definitely be a stand out collegiate athlete and have the opportunities she deserves to shine like the star she is in the NCAA.
