Axelle Klinckaert – Floor

Well. This is actual … choreography. Very courageous.

Click PLAY or watch it on YouTube.

Can’t say I love it. But NCAA audiences would go wild.

  1. I think it’s a very complete character piece. I believe she was an exotic bird from the jungle engaged in a mating dance. It’s clowning music from the Cirque show Dralion.

  2. This is the second Belgium floor routine, where my first reaction was ok unique, fits the music, but not sure how I feel. However, I keep finding myself coming back to rewatch, because it just fits the music so well. I figure if it catches my interest enough that I want to see it again, the choreographer has done their job.

  3. This is choreography that does exactly what WAG floor is SUPPOSED to do – a high level of tumbling difficulty, with performance quality, good musical selection, and choreo that responds to the music on practically every beat. It’s not my favorite choreography to the Ima Sumac piece – that would be Zoe Draghi of Cal. But this is very well choreographed, and very well performed.
