It was a serious question about “what is it”. How many twists and flips.
The video was hard to analyze. Couldn’t slow it down. I finally went and watched it ten times. (Can’t find a speed control on IG videos…and I am NOT a served FIG judge.)
I guess it is a piked double front with a half twist. Unless I counted wrong–why I asked the question.
Again, I am not a “served FIG judge” but I think that is in the COP already. Please don’t tell me we are going to get into twist timing silliness, now. How do you score a half-in/half out different from a full in back out?
I would call it Front-in, 1/2 twist, Back-out piked. It SHOULD be awarded the same value as Double Front Pike with 1/2 out. SAME number of saltos. Same number of twists.
What is it? I mean, described in flips and twists? Is it really new?

I’d call it new. New enough, at least, for FIG WTC to name it after the gymnast.
