CrossFit athlete Emma Lawson

Only 18-years-old, Emma Lawson finished 2nd in the 2023 CrossFit Games.

CrossFit women are the athletes most closely matched with female gymnasts in terms of relative strength.

I’m interested to see how Emma got so strong at such a young age. She trains with coach coach Josh Woolley.

Emma can’t believe how well she’s doing in this sport already.

The winner in 2023 was 26-year-old Hungarian, Laura Horvath. She started in climbing.

Emily Rolfe BC ( national open ) and Pat Vellner ( national open) are also killing it in CrossFit. Both ex gymnasts Emily from Kamloops and Pat Red Deer Alberta. Pat was second at the games and recent winner of the Rogue Invitational
