Hopefully someone talked to him about this afterwards. I’m all about people showing emotion and being excited when they perform well, but do it AFTER you’ve saluted the judges.

ME TOO! I thought the same thing. I would have deducted at least .3 because, while it was understandable, it was not professional. I think more of a guideline should be spread around that says celebrations should occur after a gymnast salutes and gets off of the podium. That could potentially distract the judges as well.
