FIG growing worldwide

The Assembly accepted ten new national federations: Afghanistan (AFG), Bosnia-Herzegovina (BIH), Central African Republic (associated member – CAF), Caymen Islands (CAY), Mauritius (MRI), Nicaragua (NCA), Sudan (SUD), Uganda (UGA), Zambia (ZAM) and Kosovo (KOS).

At the close of this 80th Congress 2014, the FIG counts a total of 142 member federations, of which 138 affiliated and 4 associated. Continental distribution is as follows: Europe, 50 members; Asia, 38; the Americas, 28; Africa, 24 and Oceania, 2.
