1,000-foot long SLIP-AND-SLIDE

On Saturday, thousands of Salt Lake residents of all ages slid down a 1,000-foot long and 22-foot wide water slide down the city’s Main Street. The plastic slide sits on a layer of foam and ends in a 75-foot long pool with 3-foot deep waters.

Tickets for the Salt Lake City event started from $15 for single slides, increasing to $25 for triple slides and $35 for unlimited access.

Proceeds went towards Ronald McDonald House and the Utah Aids Foundation. …
