This is a really flawed montage, Rick. Wrong names (Liukin), no rhyme or reason for the order, code numbers not called out. Just not up to the quality of Mostepenonva and NOT A GOOD REFERENCE.
TCO, so give us a list of all the mistakes, so the rest of us can learn.
I gave a sampling. Not interested in researching them all. Feel free to use what I gave to research it yourself. The code is online.
BTW, I’ve seen the fellows stuff before and this is common that his montages have a lot of flaws. Mostepenova fan is much more systematic.
I just did a check in the code, and they are all correct:
Manna – C – correct
Alvarino – D – correct (although it should be an E or F)
Menichelli – A – correct
Endo – B – correct
Tong Fei – B – correct
Gogoladze – C – correct
Fedorchenko – C – correct
Marinich – C – correct
Morandi – D – correct
Van Roon – D – correct
Tsukahara – D – correct
Ri Jong Song – G – correct
Liukin – G – correct (although it is spelt Ljukin in the code)
Kolyvanov – F – correct
Tamayo – F – correct
Hypolito – F – correct
Wu Guonian – D – correct
Thomas – D – correct
Korobchynski – E – correct
Li Yuejiu – C – correct
Lou Yun – E – correct
And it does appear there is some order too, they are in the order that they appear in the code. As far as I can tell, it is only missing 1 named skill from the code – the Defer, and I guess that is because it is very hard to find a video of someone doing this skill.
Oh, and on a side note, was the last guy doing the Lou Yun Bondarenko? It sure looked like him, but I never saw him doing that skill.
Thanks for checking, Bob. … I don’t expect it to be ‘perfect’. That’s close.
I’m linking to additional videos from the same editor, in future.
He called the triple back a Liukin. Also, I think he is (or was) missing some named skills. See the comments in the videos.
If they are in code order, that’s great. Still, he should call out the numbers so we can SEE structure.
The triple back IS called a Liukin in the code.
I thought it was a Gogaladze or whatever.
Gogaladze was the first to do it at the olympics. But Liukin was the first to do it.
Those aren’t even in the same element group, and one of the guys performing the Liukin in that vid was Liukin.
@Ono – I don’t think he was confusing it with the Gogaladze skill in flairs, rather I think it was the fact that Gogalaze also did a triple back and was the 1st to do it at the olympics.
