A. Bruce Frederick has been one of the most prolific gymnastics authors.
Now retired, he still maintains an interesting site called Roots of American Gymnastics featuring some highlights from this table of contents:
You can order the entire book of his 3rd Ed. for $22 including S&H in the USA.
Kind of a big deal. A former winner, Shaquille O’Neal.
LSU gymnast Susan Jackson was honored at a banquet Friday as the 2009-2010 Roy F. Kramer SEC Female Athletes of the Year …
In her senior season Jackson became the first LSU gymnast to win the prestigious Honda Sports Award for gymnastics in 2010. She also received the AAI Award as the nation’s most outstanding senior gymnast, also a first in LSU history.
In 2010, she captured the first NCAA All-Around national title in LSU history and also won the NCAA Balance Beam title. …
Jackson currently serves as coach of Louisiana Gymnastics Training Center that trains at LSU, and she will earn her bachelor’s degree later this month.
Blythe has a good write up with a link to results on the competition in South Africa.
