Hugh won at least 4 apparatus finals medals himself. He’s got to be considered one of the leading contenders for the single Olympic placement awarded to the Canadian Men.

Ellie did not make the Floor final. She finished behind CDNs Dominique Pegg and Talia Chiarelli. But she did qualify for Beam and Vault finals.

Another Maritime Canadian — Hugh Smith — placed 3rd AA making finals on floor, pommels, and vault.
