BIG tumbling.

If USA were to take a Bars specialist to the Olympics, it would most likely be Anna Li.

She’s a better bet than Bross or Liukin.

She was injured on triple twist.

Mckayla Maroney is gorgeous. No question.

When people complain about “American Gymnastics” they are not complaining about Mckayla. (Nor Ross, nor Gabby, nor Sarah Finnegan)

If Mckayla’s on the Olympic Team, we’ll see a 16+ score and USA will get a gold medal on Vault.

But she’ll compete only Vault in Team.

I don’t believe this Floor will be top 3 in London. It won’t be consistent enough for Marta.

Why wouldn’t I take Elizabeth Price, instead?

She’d lose a few tenths on Vault. But I could put her up on Bars or Floor in Team, if needed. Insurance.

Call me Marta, if you need any more advice. 🙂

Update from Ron Noe:

… had a brain fart when I wrote 71 out of 72. I’ve since revised it. I believe 67 out of 72 is correct.

Still, incredibly consistent for this level of difficulty.
