FIG Congress – Cancun

UEG:

… The General Assembly itself will start on Thursday, October 25. Some 450 delegates representing 116 of the 131 national member federations of the FIG are expected in Mexico.

This Congress is particularly important because all FIG authorities will be renewed. These elections concern as well the UEG as there are 62 European candidates for various positions. For the position of the FIG President, 3 candidates are running, all three Europeans. …

• Bruno Grandi (Italy)
• MTC president Adrian Stoica (Romania)
• banker Vassily Titov (Russia)

Grandi is the favourite.

TAA:

Natlia Kuzmina (Russia) and Danielle Delle Chiaie (Italy) are going head-to-head for the presidency of the Rhythmic Gymnastics. …

… It captures the heartbreaking emotions of the All Around final and, at the same time, shows how strong of an athlete Jordyn is, physically and mentally, to perform so well for her team the next day. …
