Norberts P Bars

I’d love to stuff those 3 items into a rolling suitcase for my next overseas gymnastics camp. Light and mobile.

Heaven Latimer – Floor

Warmed-up 3 1/2 twist. But does not compete it here.

She won prelims, finished 2nd in Finals at Gymnix Jr.

ready to quit Facebook?

Another new Facebook news feed redesign is on the way. That should drive a few more millions away.

They want to make new video ads less objectionable to readers.

Facebook is losing its grip on kids, according to a recent article by CNET’s Jennifer Van Grove, in which she cites complicated features and too much parental control.

Facebook uncool

Especially with teenage boys.

Where are they going?

The hottest new social media app is Pheed.

Personally, I like Facebook. And might pay for an ad-free version.

Balandin skills on Rings

UPDATE

Balandin 1 is hang vertical pull up with straight arms to swallow (Maltese) 2sec

Balandin 2 is hang vertical pull up with straight arms to inverted cross 2sec

Both are E-parts. Both are awesome.

Is this Balandin 3?

Click PLAY or watch it on YouTube.

Let’s see what Aleksandr Balandin competed last week at Russian Championships.

Click PLAY or watch that set on YouTube.

Balandin 2

Oops. My mistake. That was from a competition in the LAST code.

Click PLAY or watch his most recent routine on YouTube.

He used what I assume will be called the Balandin 3.

He ended up finishing only 5th on Rings. Due to the fall on dismount.

That first routine was posted on a site new to me — Videos of Russian Gymnasts – Aleksandr Balandin page.

Ws van Wijk caught my error. And linked to the correct routine from Russian Championships. THANKS.
