I first fell in love with Aliya Mustafina at the 2010 Worlds. She was dominant. Confident. Yet media shy. Dashing away from the press areas as quickly as possible.

I loved her comeback too.

What a psychological case study. Intriguing.

But in the ranks of best gymnasts all time, Aliya has plenty of weaknesses. Especially form. I use her and Nastia as examples of how NOT to teach young gymnasts to twist.
