Emma Fischer/@EmmsDream made this great montage to Beyonce‘s 1+1 using some of the footage from Beyonce’s music video and the recent video that McKayla Maroney and Jordyn Wieber did for 30 Seconds to Mars.

I think it came out really well and I like that it’s different – I like the effects that are used and I like the overlay between the 2 videos. McKayla enjoyed this video too and favorited it on twitter.

Don Gardiner made gymnastics come alive in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho in 1979. Through the years he has influenced the lives of many young people helping them to learn to release energy in a positive way.

This fall … the opening of Kyle Shewfelt Gymnastics, an 11,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility in the city’s southeast that will offer gymnastic programming to Calgarians of all ages.

“It’s going to start out with a purely recreational focus,” he notes of the centre that will be located near the Deerfoot Casino, “with the intention to have a competitive program later.”

… the first Universiade that I will be taking part in as a university student, and I also have the huge responsibility of fulfilling my position as the honorary ambassador of the next host city, 2015 Gwangju Universiade. Many talented Russian gymnasts are expected to participate in the Kazan Universiade which will provide a high level of competition.

The Universiade is a competition event held biannually and with the participants being amateur college athletes between the ages 17 to 28 …
