Led by all-around bronze medalist Sean Melton of Orlando, Fla./Ohio State University, the U.S. men claimed the team gold medal at the 2014 Pan American Championships at the Hersey Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Host Canada finished 4th as a team, sending some of their younger guys for experience.

The Canadian women’s gymnastics team had their turn training on the competition podium Thursday at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ont. Competition begins on Saturday for the women with the all around and team events, followed by event finals on Sunday and Monday.
