Love this gymnast. But felt 14.633 (6.100+8.533) was too high for that set.
The home team dazzled. Really, really impressive performance. π And the scary thing is (for their competitors) … both Downie sisters fell on Bars. Imagine what they would have scored if they had HIT.

Japan had a fantastic meet. I could see them finishing as high as 4th in prelims.
Canada had an excellent competition, as well.
College girl Brittany Rogers is back and looks even better than at the Olympics when Canada finished an historic 5th as a team.

MVP of the day just might have to go to Victoria Woo who competed 1st on all 4 apparatus. And rocked it.

Obviously a vault landed that deeply and dangerously should suffer greater deduction. The FIG WTC rules clearly do not work. π¦
Second vault was Tsuk with 1 1/2 twist. (5.5/14.60 for 14.683 average)
