Simone takes amphetamines (literally, and not how millennials use that word.)
This is part of the TUE. Therapeutic Use Exemption. Which IMO is a (allowed) cheat.
In gymnastics, which requires nerves and the overcoming of fear to allow an athlete to take mood calming drugs is wrong. It is literally performance affecting. And Simone is known to battle some fears, as many athletes do, in this dangerous sport.
Simone is a great athlete. But I want to see her compete clean. Same with Lance Armstrong. And no…the results might not be the same.
But enjoy your TV and your MSM narratives and the like. But it’s a bastardization of sport to allow drugs in, like this. And just churn out the Saint Simone memes.
