The United States won an unprecedented seventh straight team world title in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Wednesday in Antwerp (BEL), overcoming early adversity to extend their decade of dominance in the sport.

The team gold is Biles’s 20th World title and 26th World medal and gives her a total of 33 World and Olympic medals, more than any other gymnast in history.

“It wasn’t our perfect meet today — we had a teammate go down and we had some mistakes here and there,” said Biles, who praised the team’s “grit and fight.” …
