In addition to his all-around gold, the 19-year-old Hong also took home still rings silver (30.098) and had scores of 27.622 on floor, 26.450 on pommel horse, 30.560 on vault, 29.650 on parallel bars and 26.500 horizontal bar.

Hong’s Stanford teammate Khoi Young (Bowie, Md./Stanford University), the oldest of the top three at age 20, claimed the all-around silver medal with a 169.455, also placing second on pommel horse with a 28.601.
