One of my mentors in coach education was Tom Kinsman, technical coordinator for the Canadian Gymnastics Federation starting 1973. And later working for Coaching Association of Canada.
He developed the Canadian Coaching Certification Program alongside his partner-in-crime, Keith Russell.
As a clinician, I’ve always tried to live up to the standards set by Tom and Keith. They are my role models to this day.
Tom died Sept 11, 2021 from complications from Alzheimers. He’s remembered fondly and vividly by all who knew him.

Great man. I took several coaching courses from Tom. He also attended one of our summer camps in 1987.
