Maia got a shout out from the Prime Minister of Canada.

She’s going to have to have her leg amputated to remove a tumour.

This post is misleading. According to the updates on the GoFundMe page she had surgery in September 2020 and was doing really well. Unfortunately a scan in December showed the cancer had spread to the lungs. Incurable. So sad.

  Thanks Susanne. Perhaps the cancer is incurable. But there are still costs of treatment. I’ll leave it up.
