Canadian sport funding increased

I admire the USA for NOT relying on tax dollars for funding.

In most nations National Teams rely on the inconsistent whims of federal governments. Canada’s high performance athletes will get 18% more in direct financial support.

In his 2017 budget, Finance Minister Bill Morneau announced the government would increase funding allocated to the Athlete Assistance Program (AAP) by $5 million dollars a year, the first increase in 13 years. …
