9-16 go to the Test Meet in Rio next Spring. Top 4 from that competition will qualify to the Olympics.
The Canadian guys had perhaps the most consistent meet of any team, so far. Congratulations to the team, coaches, support staff and new National Team Director Tony Smith.
René Cournoyer impressed at his first Worlds. Great potential for the future.
This is a terrific World Championships.
The only major problem I can report are time delays. Chalking P Bars takes too long. And some of the judging has been too slow. We’ve endured up to 10min breaks between routines.
