Richard Mulvihill of Eugene, Ore., who coached at several Pan American Games, World Championships and Olympic Games, died earlier this week.
Services are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 17, at 3:30 p.m. PT at the Eugene Faith Center. With his wife, Linda, Mulvihill trained 17 Olympians and more than 50 national champions.
… Athletes he coached competed in the 1964, 1968, 1972, 1976, 1980 and 1984 Olympic Games.
