… Van Pol edged 2012 Olympian Céline van Gerner and Olympic alternate Wyomi Masela to win her first Dutch title.
Van Gerner had the title in her grasp, needing only 12.600 on floor exercise to top van Pol. But Van Gerner fell on her third pass, scoring 12.525 and settling for second.
Van Pol, 19, said she was surprised at her victory.

Competition concludes with Sunday’s event finals at the Ahoy Arena, site of the 1987 and 2010 world gymnastics championships.
