Three more of the seven FIG 5-day Age Group Program Camps on the African continent were completed in the week leading up to Easter. These were held in Congo, Senegal and Mozambique. In the previous two weeks, similar camps were held in Namibia, Nigeria and South Africa. The final African camp begins in Zimbabwe on April 2.

Each of these countries is basically at the beginner level of high-performance gymnastics, but each has in the past had times of gymnastics success that they are now hoping to re-create. …

A highlight of my courses in Africa was the Tumbl Trak Air Floor I brought with me as luggage. Inflatable equipment is ideal for hot, humid climates. Air mats are easy to clean and easy to securely store.

Tumbl Trak generously donated that to Senegal, end of course.
