Some may consider Oregon State’s win shocking … they totally owe it to the strength of their bars, where they earned a 49.675. Normally some of the best bar workers in the nation, their loss of Olivia Vivian and Leslie Mak last year left them faltering, but they’ve been picking up steam over the past couple of weeks especially and used the momentum from the home crowd to their advantage. …
LSU saw a heroic performance from Rheagan Courville, who earned a perfect 10 on vault and competed strongly across the board for a 39.75 finish that tied Sloan for the all-around title. …
Also notable…Bridgeport won the ECAC DII Championships with a 195.875, a score that would have given them the ECAC DI Championship title by over two points! …
