Alabama 197.725 – LSU 197.500

What a great season we’re having. These were the season high scores for both teams.

Memorable night for LSU gymnastics in Tide loss:

record 8,574 fans, the largest crowd in LSU gymnastics history.

… “It felt amazing to get such a high (team) score,” Courville said. “The loss is disappointing, but our performance was definitely not something to be upset about.”

A record $108,000 was raised for Foundation 56, former LSU linebacker Bradie James’ foundation to raise money for breast cancer research.

Mincie and coach D-D Breaux were interviewed last week on GymCastic.

As much as I love her passion, the crowd appeal, the sassiness, and originality, I still don’t see that as the best Floor routine in the NCAA.

“It was just an extraordinary night of college gymnastics,” UA head coach Sarah Patterson said. “It was loud, it was rocking and both teams put up great performances.”

… “The pressure was on Ashley (Priess) just like it was at the national championships last year and she came through, like she always does in these situations,” Patterson said.
