Air Floor on Kellogg’s Tour

Many were surprised and impressed with the difficulty and height of tumbling on the Olympic tour.

For example, check Chellsie Memmel going out-of-frame on this double pike.

Click PLAY or watch it on YouTube.

Chellsie:

… I’m really glad there was an Air Floor throughout the tour- it allowed me to be able to throw my big passes every night. When I tumble, I tumble hard, and I don’t think I would have been able to do it all if there was no Air Floor beneath the floor. 40 cities, 40 shows, plus practice, rehearsals, warm-ups and workouts… and that’s forgetting that we traveled across the country by bus.

Learning the dances in the hotel the first few days before the tour began to hurt a little, being on the hard floor, but otherwise I felt totally fine and really strong throughout the whole tour. Actually, I felt pretty great! …

An Air Floor was cut into the diagonal of that competition floor. Hidden under the carpet.

Our little secret. 🙂
