Having the two conferences pitted against each other is appropriate since the two dominate college gymnastics now that the Utes are a part of the Pac-12.
The Pac-12 leads the country with 129 NCAA appearances, while the SEC has 115. Both conferences have produced 15 national titles and with 75, the Pac-12 has three more individual champions than the SEC.
