… Catalina Ponor stole the show during Romania’s podium training by throwing some of her most difficult skills, including a full twisting double pike dismount on beam and a double layout on floor that she rebounded so high from that she could have done a double front out. Only six months after she returned to training, Romanian head coach Octavian Bellu acknowledged that Ponor is once again Romania’s de-facto star. …
